The Big 4 Live From Sofia, Bulgaria is a DVD/Blu-ray release by "The Big Four" - Anthrax, Megadeth, Slayer and Metallica.

The release date had been originally rumored to be October 1, 2010, but in the official announcement, published on Metallica.com on August 24, 2010, it was stated to be October 17, 2010 for Northern Europe, October 18 for the rest of the world and October 20 for the United States. These dates were later pushed back to:

  • October 28, 2010 in Northern Europe
  • November 1, 2010 in the rest of the world, except the U.S.
  • November 2, 2010 in the United States

There are three different versions of the DVD package:

2 DVD: A set with only the 2 DVDs with all full-length concerts of all four bands.
Blu Ray: Only one disc with all concerts and all bonus videos.
