This was the first European show of Metallica's 2008 European Vacation tour. (Despite its name, Metallica played the first 3 shows of the tour in the United States.)
Metallica had played Slaski Stadium several times before this concert, most recently on their Madly In Anger With The World Tour in May 2004.
Disposable Heroes was performed for the last time on this tour.
