June 8, 1993: Bratislava, Slovakia
From MetallicaWiki
The first and to this date the only Metallica show in Slovakia took place on a warm and sunny Tuesday, June 8, 1993, at the Inter Slovnaft Stadium in Bratislava.
This was one of the very few and rare occasions, when Megadeth opened for Metallica. Dave Mustaine's band replaced the originally announced opener Alice In Chains, who have resigned from this leg of the tour.
During the show, Jim Martin, a guitar player of Faith No More at that time, joined Metallica and sang "Last Caress" with the band. (Faith No More were scheduled to play in Bratislava on June 10, 1993.)
