This was the last of the three nights Metallica played in Mexico City in 2009.

All three shows were captured on film by Wayne Isham for a possible later DVD release.

For a second night in a row, the band decided to start the show with a different openers than usual on the World Magnetic Tour. Also, only three songs from the latest album Death Magnetic, instead of the usual five or six pieces, were played.
