Metallica performed in Prague, Czech Republic on June 19, 2010. The show was part of the traveling Sonisphere Festival. All bands from "The Big Four" performed on the same stage as Metallica earlier that day.
The festival was originally supposed to take place at Hradčany Airport (sometimes also called Mimoň Airport) - a former military airport about 80 km north of Prague - however on April 27, 2010 the location change was announced on the festival's official website . Milovice Airport, located 45 km east of Prague, hosted the event.
