I Disappear is the only single that Metallica recorded for a movie. It was released on the Mission Impossible 2 Soundtrack in 2000.

The leaked version of "I Disappear", that was available on the file-sharing network Napster before the band finished the recording, lead to the infamous lawsuit against the company.

I Disappear music video was directed by Wayne Isham.
