This was the last Metallica's show in 2008 and the 26th show on the World Magnetic Tour.

Lars Ulrich received a pie treatment towards the end of the show. He turned 45 on December 26, but since this was the last show of the year and also probably because Metallica very rarely performs on December 26, it seemed to be a great opportunity to pie Lars. James commented "it's about time", according to MetOnTour, as the last Lars pieing happened long 12 years before this show.
